- Due to the nature of our bussiness, some transactions will require confirmation of licences and permit and other information, you will be contacted for these and in any cases where the information can not be supplied your order cancelled and any deposit will be lost.
- To purchase firearms parts you need to supply your licence details.
- To purchase a firearm you will need to have all dealings go thru your local Firearms Dealer, you can not buy directly from the web to your house, EVER !!!
- We do accept LAYBYS and DEPOSITS on firearms
please be aware that the standard deposit rate is 20%
this is non refundable , that means if you cancel your order you loose your deposit.
laybs are generally a maximum of 3 months.

Payment and Postage Options 
Postage rates will be calculated after we have received your order.
This way we can combine your goods and offer you the cheapest / best sollution.
We will contact you with the final costs and advise payment methods either via email or phone.
In most cases we will use Australia Post.
No goods will be shipped until full payment including postage is recieved.
If you want your order Registered / Insured and or traceable please request so.
In most cases if the cost of goods is over $100 we will suggest this to you.
If you request not to pay extra for this and the package goes missing it will be your responsibility.
Most orders are generally shipped within 48 hours of confirmation of your final payment , please allow 5-7 days for delivery to your area, in the cases of remote areas and NT and WA please allow a little longer.
All prices shown are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

either online, over the phone or via a fax (we do not accept amex and dinners)
All information provided is protected by our strict privacy policy, in which your contact details will not be shared with any third parties.

International Postage
Sorry but we do not deal outside Australia,
Our governments laws and postal issues just make it to hard and too expensive.

Warranty and Returns
All NEW products are covered by manufacturers warranty, but exclude misuse and negligence and normal wear and tear.
2nd Hand firearms come with 3 months warranty again excluding misuse and negligence and normal wear and tear. Any warranty claims are effective for the original purchaser only.
All warranty claims must be sent via registered postage and accompanied by the product in question.
An intent to return an item must be notified to us within 48hours after receiving your goods. 
Returns are accepted only in these cases.
All NEW products must be in perfect condition, unopened and in packaging and unused.
along with the original reciept.
Shipment cost are your responsability and cannot be refunded except in the case of the incorrect product being sent the cost for re-sending an item is free.
THE GUNSMITHS will not accept returns where the item does not match the product description, or is not fit for the purpose for which it was purchased/used or where the purchaser simply changes their mind.
 

Security / Privacy
THE GUNSMITHS offers a secure enviroment for all our customers, which allows you to shop with confidence.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit card or it being stolen, you must notify your bank in accordance with its rules on reporting and procedures. 
we  will not sell or give your e-mail address, or any other information to any 3rd party companies.
Great effort has gone into protecting your privacy.
Personal information provided will only be used to process your order and to notify you of upcoming promotions, offers and new products.
