Firearms may be purchased , but will need to be sent to your local dealer in your state and you will require all the appropriate papers , licences and so on to purchase.

Postage Options  

Postage rates are listed on each item for standard Australia Post delivery .
We can combine your goods and offer you a cheaper rate if you buy multiple items.
In these cases the most expensive post value item is charged followed by a 60% discount on the postage of all other items in the same order.
The final shipping cost for all purchases is shown at the checkout for your approval before you make a payment.
No goods will be shipped until full payment including postage is received.

If you want your order sent via Registered/Insured and or a form of traceable mail please request so during the checkout process by ticking the boxes.
This will cost slightly more obviously but provides peace of mind should anything get damaged or go missing.
If the cost of purchased goods, single or combined is $200 or over your package must be registered, the checkout process will force this to happen.
This way there is no problems should any items go missing , we can simply track and find out where they are and or lodge a claim if anything goes missing or is damaged.
If you do not register or insure your package and the package goes missing it will be your responsibility - no refund will be given.

Most orders are generally shipped within 48 hours of confirmation of your final payment , please allow 5-7 working days for delivery to your area, in the cases of remote areas and NT and WA please allow a little longer.
In most cases it will be faster than this and generally around 3 to 4 working days.

All prices shown are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

How does this work?
When you choose to pay by card your details are all handled directly by e-path.
(this will take you to their web server just like ebay takes you to paypal)
This means you are completely safe, both CDU and PCI DSS compliant.
Everything works behind 2048 bit asymmetric encryption.
(It is now illegal in Australia to take card details without this kind of protection - check that other sites you are using are offering you this kind of safety)

Your contact details will not be shared with any third parties ever , we may however use your email address provided to send you information updates regarding special deals , new products and News items.

Estimate Of Postage Costs

This is of course relative to item size and weight , but in general:
Very Small items that can go in a post pack = about $4
Small Items that can go in a large post pack = about $7
Large items that are boxed like stocks etc = around $15

Additionally
Registered Post is about $3 per package and is insured to a value of $100
 additional insurance is roughly $1.40 for every $100 over the initial $100 covered.

Firearms - usually around $40-$50 - this depends on the location and of course the insured value.
The more expensive it is the more it cost.
We will only send firearms to licenced dealers - Registered and Insured !!

SPECIAL NOTICE:
Australia Post will not accept parcels of a length longer than 105cm.
This means that firearms will be removed from the stocks or the butt stock removed only (to make things smaller) (they are carefully padded and packed for postage purposes), and if new may not be supplied in the original length shipping carton.
In some cases particularly old military rifles like, Lee Enfield - Long Toms , Swedish Mausers etc that are still too long even after breaking down
If this is the case please call for a Courier Quote.
Note that Courier will be significantly more expensive especially to remote areas and NT and WA.

International Postage
Sorry but we do not deal outside Australia.
Our governments laws and postal issues just make it to hard and too expensive.

Warranty and Returns

All NEW products are covered by manufacturers warranty, but exclude misuse and negligence and normal wear and tear.

2nd Hand firearms come with 1 months warranty, or another way of putting it is - if a firearm has a fault on arrival or something that may have not been picked up during the testing phase, then we will fix it, your not stuck with a faulty product, again this excludes misuse and negligence and normal wear and tear.
Remembering that 2nd hand goods can be of any condition on purchase, unforeseen issues that arise months later after use are not covered by warranty. 

Any warranty claims are effective for the original purchaser only.
All warranty claims must be sent via registered postage and accompanied by the product in question.
An intent to return any faulty item must be notified to us within 30 days after receiving your goods.  

Returns are accepted only in these cases.
All NEW products must be in perfect condition, unopened and in packaging and unused.
Along with the original receipt.

Shipment costs are your responsibility and cannot be refunded except in the case of the incorrect product being sent, in which case the cost for re-sending an item is free.
THE GUNSMITHS will not accept returns where the item does not match the product description, or is not fit for the purpose for which it was purchased/used or where the purchaser simply changes their mind and or no fault is found.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

To cancel an order, you simply contact us and provide the details of your transaction.
Cancellation is only possible if the order has not already been dispatched.
You will be notified via email if you order has been successfully canceled.
